I really have no idea what to do with it, to be honest. I mean, do I really want to take it grocery shopping and advertise to a bunch of strangers that I shop at the U.S. Mint?

I will take it, it looks cool. I have been grocery shopping for 40 years, can't ever remember reading what is on somebody's shopping bag

If it's sturdy enough you could use it for hauling rolls of coins(boxes) back and forth to the bank. I use cloth reusable grocery bags to pick up my weekly boxes for roll hunting.

Well, the long awaited prize arrived...all folded up. It has a cheezy plastic outer layer and a fabric inner lining. Not as nice as my supermarket bags...and...

Was there a label on or inside the bag stating it was "Made In China?"

Of course it would HAVE to be made in the USA...I mean it's the freakin US Mint....ummmmm

" Made in Vietnam "

maybe a pic to follow later after I get all the folds and creases out...it would never grade a 2014 (V) B70 FS so I'll keep it raw

Apparently the 'genius' PR firm that convinced Coke to change their recipe found work with the United States Mint... /sarcasm off/

I love it, US government product made in Asia while providing free advertising to Facebook/Twitter ect. It literally couldnt be more government issue if they tried

The website for the bag company shows that they have canvas bags made in the US. They probably cost $2 instead of 50 cents.

Not sure why they wasted money and resources shipping these separately. Wouldn't it make more sense to put a pallet of bags next to the person who tapes up the boxes and have them drop one in each box?

Just got my credit card statement and noticed an odd charge for $4.95 from the U.S. Mint. Took another look at the packing slip that came with my "free" bag (that I didn't ask for and don't particularly want) and, sure enough, I was charged shipping for it.

Grrr...

Shipping is charged one time. You will get your order from the Mint without the shipping charge.

I was overweight in my orders for the 2013 LEPS so I cancelled one order of 2 sets. They had already shipped my lovely bag (that I will never use) and charged me the $4.95 for the order shipping costs...

I just got an email confirming the refund of the $4.95 I was charged.

BTW they started shipping on Friday (3/7) so a bunch will be going out this week...
