Looks like a nice little mix of coins.

The thing I hate about pawn shops is that some of them take all their coins and just melt them unless they are keys (some of them don't know what ones are keys and what ones are not)

Anyway at that price you did great

Great prices. You would've come out great at just two morgans for 40, but way to go!

There's over $46 melt value in silver alone. Nice pickup!

Well done! The pawn shop near me would want $300 for those. (I wish I were kidding).

Thanks for the feedback. The picture doesn't really do the Morgans justice, especially the 1881-O. It is in amazing shape.

$40 won't buy the Morgans alone, anywhere else. The 1881-O is circulated, looks EF-ish to me, but the 1921 could well be Mint State. Bazillions of 1921's have survived to the present in Uncirculated condition.

You may safely assume that the pawn shop owner bought these for less than $40.
Like coin dealers, pawn shops need to move inventory quickly.
Not having to put prices on them save the owner work.
Buying them all was another incentive.
OF COURSE you got a great deal!

The owner said he had other coins that he just hasn't put out yet. I'll be checking back with him for sure. The mix of the coins was a little odd to me. The only thing missing was a silver Roosevelt. Maybe he has a bunch of the little variety bags packed away somewhere.

I'd say that it was an EPIC deal. That lot would go a lot higher on ebay for sure- larger audience, of course.
