Lucky Cuss, you are spot on asking about provenance. I would be scared to death to buy a coin like this without it.

Amazing coin!

I'm not going to embarrass myself trying to grade it.

One of the most beautiful coins ever minted anywhere IMO. Amazing. Both portrait and eagle look primitive yet sophisticated. Thanks again for sharing your remarkable collection.

A most impressive collection indeed GERMANICVS

Giving the appearance of underlying luster among the protected devices, I'd say an easy VF30. A slightly weaker strike it looks like.

An absolute beauty! I'll say VF-30. If you got em', keep em' coming! I need a bib though!

For the record, someone saying something is X,Y,Z, doesn't make it proof or "absolutely varified". No, I'm personally not doubting GERMANICVS, but, someone's word is certainly not proof. Lucky Cuss, I don't know the OP, but I've seen many of his other posts. He is well envied by me, I'll say that!

It's like the 4th of July only with coins. Oooooooo. Ahhhhhhh.
Rest in Peace

Thank you everybody.

Interestingly, there was much unanimity with regard to the grade - VF30. Many of you estimated that correctly, since that was exactly how Bowers & Merena graded it back in 1988. No gradeflation on this one, apparently.
I hope this one will grade cleanly.

I enjoyed your 1793 wreath cent but this blows me away. I hate my ipad but it is great for blowing up pictures of coins. I think it's one of the nicest vf 30 's out there. Such clean fields.
