Another backordered expected shipping date come and gone today, now both unc & proof expected 8/15. It's been so long since I put in my order I had to call the mint to give them the new expiration date on the credit card.....

My UNC shipped yesterday, and today the proof went reserved and my card was hit. Chins up!

My 2 Uncirculated Dollars arrived in excellent shape. No noticeable marks.  I had a hard time getting mine out of the clamshell box. It was really pressed in there and I was afraid to pry on it with my finger and risk having the capsule open. I did manage to get them out. One Proof dollar is the only coin not filled from my order. If I get it fine, if not fine. -MV |

I got a shipping confirmation on the lone Proof dollar yesterday.
I hope it will be like the Uncs I received, blemish free and stunning in hand.
I'm giving one of these to my mom for her birthday coming up in a few days.

My $5 gold Unc that I ordered at 8:42 am on 3/28, after a very frustrating waiting room experience on the previous day, is in stock and reserved and my cc has been charged. Based on what I've been reading on this and other forums, it would appear that this is close to one of the last orders fulfilled! Maybe I can ask one of the TPG's for a "last coin issued" label?!? Seriously though, I never expected to get this and had all but written it off. |

If you had a "Last Coin Issued" I would think that it would be worth at least $50,000. Did you have a stand in wait for you or did you have to wait yourself? :)

LOL. Just got my package delivered today. Couldn't be happier with the coin. It will stay in OGP, even though it might be "LCI" eligible! ;)

My "Dear John" letter gold PF is still showing "in process" with an 8/31 ship date... They are squeezing every last drop of pain out of my order.. JUST MARK IT "no longer available" FOR PETE'S SAKE!  Edited by Foxwoods Man

I got the backordered message on a mint purchase once repeatedly and finally figured out it was because the expiration date on my credit card had changed and I hadn't updated them.

Backordered status has to do with stock availability not order status. CC issues should show as "Hold" on status and not "in process" Two different beasts....mine shows "in process" and "backordered" (and my CC expires in 2017 but the way this is dragging out I may still be "in process" at that time  ) You can have a CC issue (or not) and be backordered but one does not cause the other. |
