Nice coin ,and one of my favorites,, The incused indian design has always facinated me !!
In terms of coin history there is very little by way of incused design, a little on the Morgan a couple of designers initials and the Gold Indian Just off the top of my head, thats all I can think of .

I believe Ageka is a woman (there are a few of us in the numismatic community, you know  ). I now know that I was wrong and Ageka is a man. I've fixed my posts accordingly. |

This is definitely one of the drawbacks of the internet. I just emailed him to find out. I've been absolutely sure for a very long time (but can't remember what it was that made me so sure as it was a while ago). I'll edit my posts accordingly once I hear back.  |

This got me thinking as well! I know ageka is the Flemish abbrevation of letters to a full name. The first name is August for sure, and at some point we were told what the whole name was! I looked back in the "nicknames" thread and "what's in a name thread" but still do not know! It has never come up before but I know there have been references such as "she" and "her" in past posts. No one has corrected them! I have no idea why I assumed a female as well! Mike |

Knowing Ageka's real name, I was a bit surpised when I saw him being talked about as a her.....
