Congratulations! OSU is a great school, I was accepted there as a undergrad but ended up going to another university.
Make sure that you fit some internships into your course schedule. I wouldn't have half the opportunities that I have today if it wasn't for internships.

Quote: Why not? Because I went to Clemson and Tech is a bitter in-conference rival. Seriously though, it is a good school. I just had to tease.

I am currently a student at Tech studying Mechanical Engineering. Two of my roommates are AE and one just accepted a co-op for GulfStream. The other is going to Europe in the Spring to study at the Georgia Tech campus in France. I will say that GT is very tough and has really kicked me in the tail, but with the grades and focus you seem to have you will succeed anywhere you choose to go. There are tons of opportunities here and with a good work ethic you could hand pick the company you want to go to. If you have any questions about GT feel free to ask.

That's a real luxury to be able to choose from several top schools. Smart people are in high demand, and the supply is low!

Quote: Got accepted to Georgia Tech! Congratulations! Quote: I got accepted to all of the schools I applied to! That is most excellent! Quote: Now comes the process of choosing which one I want to go too.. Start by crossing GT off your list. (Just teasing again. It is a good school.)

I also auditioned for all-state band yesterday. Anxiously awaiting results.

As an engineering student finishing up a grad program, I wish I had applied to more schools (had similar test scores as yours). I applied to the local university, and although a great engineering school, it's no GT. Congrats on the hard work and good luck!

Got my audition results back. Made 2nd chair all-state band!
The director for this band is a fellow by the name of Michael Colburn, who, until last year, was the director of the President's Own Marine Band. He has since retired. He also plays euphonium like I do. Should make for quite the interesting experience.
I also got some hefty merit scholarship offers from OSU and Embry-Riddle. This college decision is going to be a toughie.

I hope you will have or have had a chacne to visit the schools you are considering. A campus visit is a must, in my opinion.

So far, I am having fun at Georgia tech. I don't think I could have picked a better school for my wants and needs. There is a lot to do, and lots of resources to do those things, such as 3-D printers [Hint #8] with which I can print just about anything I want. The band is fun, and everyone is very friendly. Let's see if I am saying the same thing when classes get substantially harder.
