Hey Nu moosey, thanks, could you post the link to the haunted bride coin discussion, I can't find it on their menu. I forgot to book mark it. You are so helpful. Hopefully in the future I will learn how to post links. I'm not computer savy, and they terrified me in the late eighties, when I needed to take a computer program course for my college degree. I only know the basics, and do everything from my iPhone.

Wow Nu moosey, you work fast it like you're turbo powered! I didn't have time to respond!, I can't spell today drats! I'm finding discussion on this coin interesting. I'm waiting for my clamshell versions to arrive. I want to compare to the CP version I have. Currently it seems to me the clamshell version looks better. The photos I see of the clamshell ones look nicer than, how my CP one looks. I think it's because it's not stuck behind plastic in a folder. Meaning you can hold it in you hand, tilting it as you wish, with no plastic over the capsule. The coins in the video look much nicer than my carded version. What do others prefer the carded or the clamshell version and why? Maybe I'm being too picky!

I do love the stamps though, I'm going to grab a few sets! I'd like to hear opinions on the video!

Hi pocket change 50!

Thanks for your kind words.

I found the thread about the Ghost Bride coin, so for those of you interested here is the link.

http://www.moderncoinmart.com/forum...series.2312/

The consensus seems to be that the coin sure is "creepy".

I must be desensitized, I don't understand why people are finding the coin spooky or creepy. Anyone else think it's creepy? I've read a lot on the Internet about this coin, and this comment comes often. Thanks Nu moosey for your assistance again with posting links. I know I can count on your skills. I hope you and everyone else has a great Canada day!! So fair since Friday it's been cold and raining. So far 3 dry days in June!

Has anybody heard when the next" Haunted Canada" coin in the series will be released? If memory serves me right, we're over a year since the first release (June 2014).

Anyone else think that the Ghost Bride is a sleeper coin in the making? Looks like pricing is slowly trending up...

Well, according to info provided a long time ago, the next STAMP issue in the Haunted Canada series is to be issued sometime in September:

I'd expect the next coin to be released around the same time.

...and yes, there will be a new release in the series - "La Corriveau" - in September.

I'd rather see the Ghost Train.

Here's a little history lesson relating to "La Corriveau":

Assuming this is a five coin series based on the provided images on the stamp sheet, how come La Corriveau isn't pictured on it?

Because most likely there will be only one coin for five stamp designs each year. It's a five year series, so we'll get to see five new stamps every year but only one coin (unless the RCM decides to increase the number of coins per year which is not off the cards for sure...).

Reminds GITD - the first had a success (well, here it just floating bit above issue price), but people loaded with this, the second is average....and the series will be successfully "forgotten".

Got the third and "final" coin in this series, truncated
to a three coin series rather than 5 coins. Received two
of the three as gifts. Seeing the first coin selling
above issue. Creepy eyes on the first coin, the others
not so much. I picked up the Uncut Press Sheet for the
first coin as well.

Thank you for sharing, SilverDon

Imo, this is nice fun-set, specially in CP version.
I usually prefer the coin in its capsule, but have admit, that in this case, RCM variation is boring.

I think also, the card for the second coin, is out of theme - not as per story.

Great pics SilverDon! Too bad it's over so soon. I thought it an interesting way to feature across-country locations that attract tourism and with only three - one from Alberta, BC and Nfld, the series had barely began.
