The coin is on the Mint's website (for MC members) but still nothing from my rep about it. Very odd.

Even more incredible CC, is that I ordered one from the mint's site two days ago (thanks to mts' tip off on this thread) and it arrived today (no prior notification and now it shows as "Shipped" on my Order History)!
I really like the coin and the box is also very well done.
Also makes me think that the new (old) Ottawa CFL team should have been called the "Bighorns" instead of the ridiculous Redblacks.

First Ottawa 'home' game is tomorrow in Regina. Would have preferred it was Roughriders against Rough Riders but that was then and this is now. Go Redblacks!

Tipit: I've been using 'Coin Manage' http://www.libertystreet.com/canadi...software.htmit works well, and once you get to know it, you can manipulate the database in a number of ways, including adding coins from other countries and denominations etc.

I see on the mints website, this coin has gone in & out of stock at least twice. A few days ago it was in stock again. I thought I had time to order another one, as it's a very nice coin. I'm really enjoying the one I have. I like to spread out purchases so I can pay off my credit card. I just checked and it's back awaiting stock. I hope it comes back in, as I'd like to he another to go with my 2 eagles. I don't want to pay for shipping. I just thought it would hang around longer than the $20 & $50 coins. There's currently no profit selling on ebay after the fees/ shipping. So where did all these coins go? According to CC Ottawa's post they 1st were on the mints website June 13, that was fast not 2 weeks to awaiting stock. It's not a small Mintage either. This and the eagle are very nice designs!

If its doest come back to stock you could order one from silvertown. They have one on for 96.95 if you pay by wire which works out to 104 CAD. It ships for free. Funny how its cheaper to buy it from the states in the aftermarket http://www.silvertowne.com/p-24080-...-in-ogp.aspx

Not a fan of these coins really...BUT that being said is this not a good way to pad any credit card points, considering dollar for dollar no tax and. No shipping.. And banks are obligated to redeem these for face value. Of course once they know the process.

Is today the first day the big horn sheep coin available to non master club members? It's showing as awaiting stock. I was fortunate to get my 3 coins. One was a subscription, after seeing the quality of the coin I bought 2 more. The coin has gone awaiting stock a couple times, so I was fortunate to get another two. It would be amazing if it achieved this status, while still at the master club level, especially with a large Mintage.

It was available for public for a few weeks. However, the mintage is not so high - 45K vs. 50K for the previous $100 coins.

When I disappointed in the quality of this series, decided to sell all (except the Eagle). No one wanted them here for Face value, but locally they went for $105-$110

I'm still looking for the bison at face value plus shipping. I missed out on this coin, thinking with its high Mintage it would be in stock a lot longer than it was. No a masters club wouldn't make the big horn sheep a better coin. It just would be interesting from the demand side of the equation. I really like these last 2 hundred dollar coins. I have 2 of each. I was not impressed with the grizzly, so only bought one. I'd rather have these coins to look at than a plastic hundred. It helps me save, as I cannot take it to the store to make a purchase. Yet it's there as an emergency fund, by taking it to the back. Plus these days banks are paying little to no interest in savings accounts. So I don't feel I'm losing anything by having some saving held in these coins. They are also there if I need a quick & unique present.
I cannot comment on the bison, as I haven't seen one in hand. So I don't know how desirable these are image wise.

But, IMO, you do not lose nothing, by not owning this coin. yeah, the price is equal to the Face Value, but the design, IMO, is poor, and doesn't come close to the recent nicely crafted "2014 $20 Bison family" coin (4-th in the Bison series).

@ Silveriod, I keep forgetting to look and see what our members are selling, unless someone mentions it in passing. I keep thinking the coins members will sell are mainly American. Oops I've probably missed some bargains in this regard. I appreciate you reminding me. It may be a less desirable image, however, I need one to have 1 complete set. I hope they continue to build on the design quality of these 2014 coins. I really do enjoy them. I have 2 bison portrait coins from the 4 coin set. I'm waiting for a sale on the other 3 coins. I really like the bison series. I'm just drowning in all these series, so I decided to take my time and bargain hunt. I would of preferred it, if they released a bison coin every 3 month, as opposed to every month. My budget cannot keep up with all these series.
