I voted yes but as posted above, it comes down to luster. If the luster is good? It should bean for sure.

I don't know much about CAC's criteria, but the hits on miss liberty, most visible on the arm, could be a concern.

I like the original look a lot. It's really sharply struck, and there is minimal if any wear. I think you made a good purchase.
That said, luster is incredibly important on an AU58. Unless it's got the luster of a 62 or 63, which the images don't indicate, I don't think it will CAC. I am also concerned about the powdery appearance of some of the edge toning, and the hits across Miss Liberty's upper body and cheek.
Please let us know if you send it in. I would be delighted to be proved wrong!

I would submit it for sure. The coin looks great and I don't see any reason of not getting green CAC.

Never heard of CAC. How do they compare with PCGS, NGC, or similar?

Thanks Classic Coins. I saw the statement, but somehow missed the link. Great information.

I say go for it. It's got great eye appeal- a beautiful coin.
But, I've never submitted anything to CAC and really don't know what they base their decisions on, so my opinion may not be worth much.

Do it. That's a gorgeous coin that anyone would love to own. Go for it. I say that it makes the grade.

Heritage doesn't scan coins, and hasn't for 10 years. These are photographic images - very easy to tell from the color and lighting pattern. Of a coin I think will bean. What a prototypical 58; just this once I don't think it's a copout. No visible wear, but marks consistent with circulation. Trememdous coin.

That is certainly one beautiful coin and I wish you the best of luck in submitting it! However all the marks on Liberty made me vote no just because I wasn't sure how they'd react to that.

I think it's worth sending in. From the coins I've sent in, I have been happily surprised of the ones that got the sticker, and even more surprised of the ones that did not. Should you want to sell the coin in the future, a CAC sticker certainly makes it more sell-able.
Nice coin.
