I might try to collect the Barber coinage before I start Morgans. I already have the Dansco albums for all three (dimes, quarters, and Half Dollars). I also agree that the design is nice looking. Plus, in one of my coin clubs, there is a man who really likes Barbers so I know where to get them!

I am the exact opposite. I think Barber's are the fugliest US coinage ever. Not a fan of Morgans either. IMO, Teddy Roosevelt had it right and those he helped introduce are far and away the BEST DESIGNS.

A well struck coin brings out the best details, no matter what the series. A splash of color does not hurt either.

Morgans are not the most beautifull BUT there is something mistical, magical about them, let me explain....i got my first morgan about 22 days ago started to carry it as a pocker piece and guys I have never been so lucky or succesfull, I'm a wheat miller by trade and run a 36 ton per hour mill since I got the coin EVERYTHING just ran soo well no problems at work or play! Morgan maybe? I think so

Barbers, male or female are kinda ugly but hugely collectable. I've had a Barber dime collection since the 80s back when you could pick them up for next to nothing. Those were the days! Good to hear you got bit by the coin bug.

It never fails. In just about every Barber thread, someone has to just tell the world how much they hate the design. I can't stand a lot of designs, but I don't need to profess it in every thread. Anyways, the Barber series is my favorite. If you haven't already, check out the past 25 Days of Barbers. Quite a few images in there. And please share yours as well.
