NICE GRAB! I think I can see a few dings, the pics are not good enough to nail it down but I'd go with AU too. As far as I know the 1878 (First year of issue) was the only Morgan with the 7/8 tail-feather variation. Is this your first 'Foreign' silver?

I have bought bullion, but this is my less than fine silver purchase, and it is special cause it was minted a 100 years before my birth woohoo

I'm not seeing wear, so MS-63. Your first Morgan was a heckuva lot better than mine.

It looks like she cut herself shaving Quote: it was minted a 100 years before my birth Now you need a half dollar from 1929 and a quarter from 1954

Lol what happened to the airtite? It's a very nice first Morgan, I would grade it at MS-62 or MS-63. My first Morgan was uncirculated as well, probably in the same grading range as yours, but I harshly cleaned it. Didn't know any better I'm sure you'll enjoy it!

Lovely Morgan, ASENut! Just one word of warning - Morgans can get addictive! Once I had only one, then two, then...
