You are right. Looking back at my records, it was $9.95 the first two years.  Still a decent deal, consider how difficult they are for me to acquire via circulation. |

Thanks for the replies. I have seen some ATBs in circulation. Maybe we should get a folder for them. Will hold out for a while on the 5 missing "territories" quarters, but might eventually have to cave and visit ebay. |

If you're willing to do a box of quarters, you might fill some holes that way. That's how I got most of my 2010 quarters.

At the theater I manage, all prices are rounded to the nearest quarter. That being said we only order quarters from Brinks & I've noticed (like others) territories are less common... although I wouldn't go sa far as to call them scarce. I see a ton of American Somoa's in particular.

You have to look at a lot of quarters to get the entire territorial offering. I got so frustrated trying to get Virgin Islands that I went out and bought them from a dealer. Two weeks later I found them.
Note to self: glue shut the wallet when working on current coins.

I just rolled 11 rolls of quarters out of the change jar, only got one District of Columbia quarter, used to get a few territorial quarters each time, then it went down to maybe one or two in my bi-monthly change jar rolling. Now they seem few and far between. our Statehood Quarters are all completed,  and our ATB map is all up to date, all from circulation, have never bought any   |

Just got 2 Samoa quarters the other day out of 5 CWRs/BWRs. Like all 2009 coinage they are low mintage, but I see them often enough to have quite a few of each and toss many back. Hate I had to buy a book for 12 quarters when I only made a mixed set of the State Quarters not a P&D set. Marinara Islands was the harder to find. Found all the others before even finding a P one of those. |

Bought a 31 lb mixed lot in NZ this week and have already found 3 territory quarters - Nevada, Idaho and Wisconsin. Bonus for me is that the Wisconsin has a CudI did see a couple of Samoa when I was in CA for 8 weeks earlier this year, but at the time I wasn't considering them as a collectable. I'll be in Oregon June/July 2015, so will be keeping an eye on the quarters |

I agree that 2009 coins are really difficult to find no matter what the denomination is and usually condition. Whenever I manage to get possession of one I tend to keep it on speculation only no matter what their condition is. Note to Bas S Warwick: Nevada, Idaho and Wisconsin are not territories. They were issued a part of the 10 year 50 state commeration. At the end the issuance of State Quarters in 2009 the various U.S. Territories were honored by issuing the Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands, Samoa, District of Columbia, and the Northern Mariana Islands coins. |

Territories of the United States are a type of political division that is directly overseen by the United States federal government, in contrast to the states, which share sovereignty with the federal government.

We found a Mariana Islands last week in circulation. Only 2 more territories to go to fill the map |

I have gotten all of my ATB Quarters from boxes I search. I have all of them except for the most recent one. Territory Quarters do have a lower mintage than the State Quarters (it seems every 2009 coin has a low mintage) but here in NC, they are still pretty common. |

Maybe 20 territory quarters pulled from circulation since '09. Even less for ATB Quarters. Western New York State. |

They are quite hard to find. Strange thing is that the one with the lowest mintage, Northern Mariana Islands, seems to be the one I always find. Must be that the Fed distributed most of them in my area.
