Rarely, because he focuses on other hobbies more and has no problem ripping people off. Show's cost more (at least I spend more!), but boy is there more selection and nicer people.

A few times a year. I save my money and buy more if he's got good stuff I'm looking for. Between visit, I try to reaseach what's the selling price of the coins I want.
edit: spelling

I go once or twice a month. He usually sets things aside for me so I hate to make him sit on that stuff too long.

I live far away from from my LCS, so I can't go in very often. A couple times a month.

About twice a year. It is a long ways from home. But I am going to stop by there tomorrow because I am moving both my kids into their dorms at N.C. State and have to drive right past the place!

Maybe once a month. I save up all my extra money and see if there is anything worth buying at the end of the month

I never go to my LCS because the owner buys the coins on ebay just like me.

Not much need to around where I live. A coin show every Sunday within 15 miles or less.

There is a show here monthly. Still better to hit the 5 or so dealers regularly.....by the time it gets to the show it is way marked up. Find it in a shop just after they purchased and always a better deal. At least in my experience.

Usually just to buy supplies, but if I ever need a coin, would probably buy it from the "stamp" guy that works there....he'd give me a better deal

I don't have any local shows or any local coin stores. There's a place that sells a few coins, radios, bullion and a bunch of other stuff, but they think every coin they have is a semi-key date, and they're mean. I don't go there.

twice a week to two store front lcs and once a week to a flea market with 8 coin venders I find if I go even more often I can catch and buy stuff before they go through it most lcs do way more buying then selling they put on ebay so if I can give them its easy cash for them. They don't care if I cherrypick they sell off grey sheet and hardly ever know varieties. fleamarket is best for prices as they dont use ebay for difference for example they might not check for superbird, any type 2 etc like a 1956 type 1 rev franklin
