bkh2015- I've done some reading on that site but never really used it for anything, lots of sites have inaccuracies but I dont have any links to a better one off hand..if DBM feels its not accurate then I believe it. Good luck with that coin.

No, almost a full gram too heavy. With a scale like that it's likely your coin is within the acceptable range for a worn 1 piso. Try weighing a fair number of them.

^so am I. Is the op trying to figure out if this 1 piso is on a Canadian twenty five cent planchet? The post makes it sound like a quarter has been minted on a 1 piso planchet......

OK....Your coin appears to be acid treated, thus the reduction in weight. Evidence of this appears on the weak and mushy reeding as well as on the obverse of the coin. Pitting is also evident.

I believe specified weight for the mutiply 1 piso is 5.35gr.
Here's some on my POS scale, your 5.2 ain't far off.

Here's a couple of quarters, one slightly over, one slightly under the specified weight of 4.4 grams. Certainly neither is a wrong planchet strike.

Seems pretty clear that your coin is PMD. Nothing adds up on the weight angle except a slight reduction due to acid treatment.

I was to busy looking for a web page on foreign planchets and didn't pay attention to the coin itself.. I do agree your coin looks acid etched which does reduce the weight, after a good second look I to think its PMD.
Rest in Peace

Pennyman007,
Sorry guys, I am not with acid job on this coin. An acid job it's different from what you see it will destroy the coin and will never left the smooth surface.

A relatively weak solution of sulphuric acid could do this.

But bkh2015 if you dont think what people are telling you is the probable affect, you can always send it to a professional coin analysis institution to see what their conclusions are...
