MS 64 except I cant tell if there are bag marks on Liberty's cheek. Maybe 63 if I could see the chin clearly and the left field more clearly.

MS-64. Although I can't see the cheek area and tell if there are bagmarks. But the rest looks pretty nice.

First thought - MS63 might be MS64 but would need better photos, the hit on the chin might not be as deep as I first thought.

I agree, a lock at 63 with a possible 64 depending on how hard that cheek hit is and what is lurking in the shadow. I was really expecting to see you post some Frankies from the show.

Thanks all. NGC had it at MS-64. I paid only $65 for it, so I'm really happy. At the show there was this case that had a dozen or so MS-64 Morgans, all in NGC nubby holders and being sold for $65 each. I narrowed it down to two, the coin I bought and an O-mint toner. The strike and luster on this one convinced me to buy it (the 1882-S is known for exceptional strike). It's very nice coin in hand, real frosty. Here's a pic:  |
