Just received my H.C. coin today, didn't realize Canada Post delivered packages on Sundays but anyways, the coin looks awesome the packaging is very well done, however the C.O.A. came in a plastic baggie glued to the top flap of the box where the description is, if you take the baggie with the C.O.A. out there is a H.C. logo underneath but the logo looks like it is very worn however it is laminated over top. Just wondering if anyone noticed this?, is this how all of them are or should I be contacting the mint and possibly sending it back?

I didn't take the COA zip-loc out of mine. Will look at it again to see if the logo is worn or not and let you know Jackalope.

It's a picture of a puck covered in snow, that's not wear. Look a little closer, looks like a puck on backyard hockey rink.

Thank-you fed_ink85 I didn't realize it was supposed to be a puck covered in snow.

Hmmmm! Somehow I don't think it's supposed to look like that, Jack.

Despite the humorous explanation by fed_ink85, I suspect it's damaged goods.

I haven't received mine from the mint yet, in fact it hasn't progressed any since the beginning of November, however I will post here whenever it shows up.

That's not only snow, it's a storm.

Believe me, it's snow and they're all the same. I had the same thought as Jackalope when I recv'd my first one.

I concur with the "snow on the puck" explanation - mine is exactly like that as well.

Well I'll be damned!

I guess I'll have to eat my antlers again! (At least they grow back.)

Although I noted that this coin is just a logo in a
previous post, after seeing the coin pictures, and
seeing that the hockey player is the mirrored field,
I think it is a pretty neat coin. A bit of an optical
illusion in the skater coming towards us, but only his
outline identifies he is there. I am a convert, plus
it is enamel rather than paint. Nice coin. Box similar
to Superman with no place for the COA. Can't win
'em all.
