Personally, I've never had a problem with JM Bullion in several purchases over the past 2 years. Sure, it takes a few days for funds to clear if you pay by check and for your order to ship but it's worth it to me to save the money. If you're in a hurry, go to your local bullion dealer and pay more for less variety. If you're worried about quality of bullion, going to an LCS/LBD that gives you the opportunity to pick and choose. It's an opportunity cost, and I won't pretend that I don't do just that on occasion. Sometimes I need my silver NOW.

I've never had to talk to their customer service so I can't comment there.

I ordered from both and never had problems.

APMEX
Good: Nice selections of coins, good packaging, great customer service, ebay sales that include shipping and paypal credit card charges
Bad: Higher prices than others, free shipping over $99

JM Bullions
Good: Usually lower premiums, good weekly specials
Bad: Minimum order of $100 (I wouldn't consider this too bad since you get free shipping)

Here are my other expeiences with other PM dealers

Provident Metal
Good: usually lower premiums
Bad: unresponsive customer service if you have any issues with order

MCM
Good: good ebay sales, fast shipping
Bad: Usually higher prices on non sale items

Silvertowne:
Good: ok prices
Bad: Slow delivery

Whenever I want to purchase PM, I will compare the prices among these dealers and see what is the best prices. There are other numerous PM dealer so look for the best total prices including shipping.

Maybe I have just been really lucky but I have never had a problem with any dealers mentioned above. I have dealt with JM, APMEX, MCM, Bay Precious Metals, and Provident. I always receive what I ordered in a timely matter and pretty well packaged.

Liquid silver...it's seems you haven't had the best of luck at any of the places you have ordered. That's really unfortunate.

As a collector and a businessman, I enjoy seeing JM here defending their honor and wanting to service any and all issues.

Makes me more likely to purchase off them than not honestly.

Good job JM Bullion.

I have bought from APMEX, overpriced.. YES. Good customer service? .... YES.

However, comparing prices, sometimes APEX is actually cheaper than other sites, go figure.

It all depends on what you are ordering, how much and which items.

JM Bullion has good deals. My issue is how they make you buy 100 dollars worth. Forget that. I will buy how I want. Not what they want me to buy.

Also, they have ridiculous mark ups like APMEX. Their Somalia chicago ANA privy mark elephant coin is a rip off and the antique finish kilo coin is a rip off. Those coins have gone for way less, such as the ANA privy mark, when they went to auction. JM Bullion, put those on sale and then you wont come across like a rip off.

My general impression of APMEX pricing (spreads) has always been negative. I can usually do better at my LCS.

I've placed a few orders (couple hundred bucks, not any substantial volume) with JM Bullion and been quite satisfied. Placed an order with APMEX for 5x Peace dollars and the order was fine. It was a compromable price given an advertised better condition coin than JM. Overall, bullion coins, JM Bullion is my go to... I'm just not sure I want to but at over $20/ounce.

Yup7676 a self professed multi million dollar day trader and he has trouble buying a order of one hundred dollars? Maybe he needs to find a new high paying profession like pan handling that pays high commissions, dang or maybe he could learn some manners about bashing something or companies he seem to know little about and stick to trading what ever he trades. Just saying..

Boliver...was that comment even really necessary? It seems to me Yup gave his opinion just like myself and everybody else that has posted a comment under this topic.
