Looks great! How do you like the intercept shield album compared to other dansco albums? I wanted to start a type set but have put it off because dansco is dragging their feet and I also don't want to pay for one.

Nice start. I think the extra page wizard sent you the large cent hole is the right size. It was for mine anyway. Try it.

that's got to be the best US collection I have ever seen, I had no idea you had so many different types. It alsways struck me as odd how the 2c never caught on, having so many 1c coins must get to be a pain?

~Debrajc - I'm afraid my progress will slow down pretty soon, not to many "easy" coins left and all others will be more expensive.

Yes..... I understand. I will run into the same thing with my type set. I have tried to get "some" of the harder more expensive coins here and there so I don't end up with all "hard" ones at the end. I am going to just take my time, one coin at a time. So far it's been a lot of fun.

Great looking set so far! I am in the same boat, with most of the easy ones out of the way my progress has really slowed.

Also have to say that I do like that they have the updated pages so that you can get in everything in that intercept album.

TO be honest I have only used Dansco albums before and the only reason I've bought this one is because Dansco 7070 cost to much if you can even find it and is still not updated. But I must say that I'm impressed with the quality of Intercept, it is at least on par with Dansco albums. Also coins looks great in those green pages, I think even better than in Dansco albums. If I will be looking to purchase any new albums I will probably get Intercept instead of Dansco.

I've just checked my extra page and unfortunately large cent hole is also to small in this one. But stil it's nice that they've sent extra page at no charge.

You are right, putting together type set album is a lot of fun. Also I think once it is completed it is the best looking album with coins that differ from each other not only by date or mintmark.

Nice coins! I like the Intercept album. I may move my nice type set to Intercept and start a low-grade type set for my 7070.

My only customization is that the bicentennial modern stuff bores me, so I filled the three holes with an Isabella Quarter, a Columbian Half, and a Lafayette Dollar. They represent the first year of issue of each commemorative denomination, and also much more interesting to show my friends!

Interesting idea. I like the Bicentennial coins, so would not change that. But I might look into adding that page,
But change the labels and coins. Could have Presidential
dollar and ATB Quarter. Have to give thought into what
other coins could swap out.

Late to the party but that looks awesome! Great work!

Those Westward Journey nickels ought to be pretty easy to fill in.

I really do like the green on those Intercept Shield albums.

Keep the pics coming and good luck with your journey!

I like the Intercept album very much over the Dansco. Their optional gold page has holes for all three of the dollar types plus the $3. And it's nice to have the updated modern cents and nickels.
