Seller doesn't offer returns. Buyer covered by ebay's buyer protection. ebay refunds the price of the item and buyer is out the shipping charge?

Quote:It used to be, but now ebay ILLEGALLY charges a final value fee on shipping prices as well. What's illegal about it?

It would always irk me to see a seller selling something for 99 cents and then charging $19.95...$24.95 in shipping to get around paying ebay their rightful fees. I don't see what ebay is doing at "ILLEGAL" at all, just good business on their part.

Is it me or does the reverse shown not "feel" right in regards to the obverse....like the images are two different coins? My gut tells me he posted a more common 1893 obverse with an "s" reverse and created (In pictures only) a rare coin. Then when you pay the crazy money for this coin ( he claims to have the shipping where it is so he can get his money right away) he will gladly do a return on the coin....minus the shipping fees, which he is clearly not obligated to refund shipping fees by ebay policy. This has scam written all over it. You end up with one common coin, and out a bunch of cash. Bad smell all over this one

Well, its nice to know that Centsles is also this seller as well. Advice to novices: please stay away from this coin.

I believe "Stock" or "Example" photos are a policy violation.
Seems to me that stolen pics, if not a violation in itself, would fall into that. This rule is broken constantly with coins though, but policy is a pic of the actual item IIRC.

-----Item was ended by the Seller because "there was an error in the listing". (?) -----The ebay "Money Back Guarantee" guarantees you receive the item you ordered or the purchase price PLUS original shipping is refunded to you.

Hey, check out the description " Note* shipping costs are higher only so ebay will release funds to me quicker. " I'm not too sure how that even works out at all. "Still a bargain of a price at the low starting bid." Well WHOOP-DE-DO

That's not even the worst I've ever seen. Not on a coin, but some other item. 10 million dollars to ship it.... Ridiculous.
