I agree that it is a fake. Sorry. The face looks so funny, though!

You'd be scowling too, if everyone said you were a fake.

Funny, it doesn't even say what the denomination is!

If I remember correctly the denomination is on the lettered edge for real ones.

I think she smelled how fishy of a coin she's on.

Your coin is a common Counterfeit from South East Asia origin and is commonly referred to as "Coyote":

To "check" your coins without having everyone here know.... Go to google and enter the date and denomination and PCGS coinfacts. You'll go to the older (free) version of the site and you'll see an excellent image of a genuine coin. Compare things, small details to overall "look". The weight is listed as is the diameter. A little leg work can prevent people from buying copy coins.

May not be just a fake anything since no denomination is shown. Could well be just a medal or something to look like a coin. IF you didn't pay much for it, could be the start of a different type of collecting.

Flowing Hair and Draped Bust halves and dollars had the denomination on the edge lettering, a feature which is lacking on almost all modern fakes.

@ambro51

Would you mind posting a link to any coin in the "older (free)" coin facts. I'm having trouble finding it in a google search and am curious to see what it looks like.
