Once the walk-back thread passes 1200 I will post a picture of mine - promise. Quote: Lovely idea Since you are one of those who were disadvantaged in this thread, since quite a few coins of yours don't show a ruler, maybe you should start it off. Could be based on reign/minting period but life-time provides more flexibility. Come on start it and set the parameters.

Judging from his wit and 'humor' I think he is a recent college graduate or a senior citizen.

Well if the game is over and we are on the topic of speculations. I would guess he is closer to senior citizen. I don't say that to be mean, but some key observations, erratic sleep schedule. Yet he goes to bed at a reasonable hour, which suggests he gets up early, which suggests he requires less sleep then a younger person. The amount of numismatic familiarity and resourcefulness does not usually come so easily. I would bet what we are witnessing is a life of numismatic exposure. I wonder though if technically it is appropriate to discuss such things in the thread. You might want to continue the discussion in the Picture the Ancient Coin person thread.

Quote: Forgive me for being a bit nosey but how old are you Med ? Okay, I'll give you a clue - when I was your current age, I attended university and in the US of A there was a democrat president. Quote: he goes to bed at a reasonable hour Doubt many would consider midnight to two in the morning a reasonable hour - sometimes a bit earlier and sometimes even later. My standard sleep schedule is around the four to six hour mark (and has been since my university times).

That narrows it down to LBJ, Kennedy, Carter, and Clinton. So at the oldest you are in your 70's and at the youngest you are in your 40's. Interesting indeed.

While your math is correct on one end (but couldn't it be Harry Truman?), not so on the other end: You are forgetting: 1. Obama & 2. Clinton's presidency ran the whole year of 2000.
But this is not what this thread is about. So once more thanks to 'echizento' for starting it. Good night to everyone west of the Atlantic Ocean.

Whoa, anybody feeling the déjà vu here? Yeah, good thing we officially ended the “Guess the Emperor” game earlier this evening. Otherwise Med's clue-giving, with Augustus Maximus' (and others') guessing, might have gone on and on. Perhaps after 238 pages a bit of separation anxiety is to be expected...

I hate to spoil the fun folks, but this is not coin related and really shouldn't be discussed here.

No problem, the discussion would have been better in the the Picture thread.
