Nail guns on a 2x2 is just overkill.

I ONLY use self-messing with drywall anchors when we mount crown-sized holders to the wall.
We spare no expense.
Also: Let's try for page 3!

Interesting the seller is Top Rated!! To be fair, IƧ've had my share of stapler problems. I first started using a normal stapler, however the staples wouldn't penitrate all the way through. My result the tops of my staples would buckle. It was very fustrating! I purchased a flat cinch stapler from CA, however, I've misplaced it. I've tried using those staples in a regular stapler and it's a disaster!

I must admit to having some stapler issues with the big 2x2s for the old dollar coins.

I sometimes end up with a little pile of broken staplers because when I stapler them the staplers don't go all the way through and break. When I do get the staplers to go all the way through I hammer the tips flat with something unless I want to get my finger and 2x2 book cut. I know my staplers are too small

You can get the proper numismatic crimping stapler and staples for about $20 from CA. They go into the 2x2 pages smoother and don't catch on the bottom of the plastic holder on the page. Viamo 11, even easy on the hand if you use it a lot. Spring inside does most of the work. Just limit use to the cardboard not the plastic.
This topic is getting warm.

I just use needle-nosed pliers to crimp the staples flat.
What I really hate is getting a 2x2 that's been rotated 90 degrees so that it won't fit into the pocket in the page holder. Which is entirely the fault of the person doing the stapling...

Am not sure why you guys are "riding" this stapler person? let him do his thing! Who says that the way he staples is the wrong way? Nobody has to agree. It maybe perfectly right for him. Maybe he is handicapped in some way and that is the only way he can do it? I for one do not use staples anymore! I use tape to seal the edges. As Pacific said, A stapler is a weapon! this is what a cop at Vancouver Airport thought a few years back and killed a very upset and disoriented man who did not speak or understand English.. Even though the cop knew it was a stapler the man was holding in his hand!

Staplerman. I tried the self gluing peel and stick 2x2's and didn't like them, they fold up when you put them in a binder, not stiff enough.

Silver Don, self gluing are no good, as you say, way to soft. and expensive. I use scotch tape around the edges. Never use staples again.
