I agree with MS63. Is this an FS-303?

MS64? It's B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L...and just exactly like the one I am looking for in my Dansco 7070

Man, that obverse die looks like a wooden stake you pounded too often.

I do not have a good (clear) enough to verify if it if a FS-303. But it is a good looking AU58! I need to have this one TruViewed as well as a few others.

I got here late to the party, I was wavering between AU58 and MS64 these nickels can be a tough call from photos. Super nice looking coin John!

wow...that's some AU58. Is there that much friction on the coin in hand versus these photos? I don't see where this is not MS based on the photos but its a great learning lesson. Excellent coin sir.

It looks better than AU. But I'm sure it will fit nice in your 7070.

My "without rays" Shield nickel is also an AU58. They should compliment each other in the display/storage tray.

Wow. Those are both serious Everyman Collection coins at AU58.

I was kicking around the "Everyman" set, but I have too many MS variety types to tackle...

I really like the Everyman stuff. It's not a numbers game like the Mint State sets are - subjectivity is part and parcel. Eye appeal rules. And the competition is cutthroat.
