Your best bet, aldrin, is to crop the images closer to the coin before uploading. That will make the resulting coin image larger and hopefully we will see resolution being lost in the current images.

Buffalos are especially difficult to grade, and therefore dependent on image quality. For the best chance at accurate grading, a coin image needs to be sharp at a bare minimum of 600 pixels in diameter and 800 would be preferable. It must be understood that grading from images is a skill separate from and additional to grading in-hand. You need to understand how digital photography affects the look of the coin, and those newer to grading from images (but not in-hand) tend to undergrade by a level or two, especially Mint State examples.

XF40, in that grade, it's worth about $900. Nice coin!

OK, I apologize if I did anything wrong. Either I didn't know or forgot. It was probably not the part about the email. Am assuming it was the other part. Again apologies, won't happen again. Ed

There are alas plenty of fake 1937-D 3-legged Buffalo nickels out there - and the diagnostics would be evident to an expert.

I am not that expert ...

Hopeful that your coin checks out with the CCF experts.
