I like the gold on blue details. I will get mine on the 1st day of this issue (21st of January) directly at the mint.

Anyone else interested?

yes!! I have mine on order at my local bank. Looks like I will have it in my hands by the end of the month( I have all of them except for the earlier Silver titanium issues( pre Euro I think). You might want to check the KP numismatics site...I am sure they have advertised them in the past

We just ordered some -- Yea!! Won't ship for a little while but it is such a great-looking coin. It has sattelites!

I still need some to complete the set but the ones I need are sold out.

Ordered some as well directly from the mint. Always meant to be picking up a few, and the designs are really attractive. For sure at the upper end of what I like to spend on individual coins, but would love to build a complete series down the road. Already own the 2000 and 2001 100 Schilling silver/titanium issues.

I see the Austrian Mint also produces similar coins for Luxembourg (although denominated at 5 euros).

Just checked the Austrian Mint website, and all of the silver/niobium coins are showing as sold out. Glad I ordered some when I did.

May be able to buy direct from the mint.
Email or write them, asking who their selling agents are.
You may have to deal with an English supplier but I don't this will be needed.
Does Joel Anderson* sell them? He does lots of new stuff.

We can't do business with you (or trade, etc.) until you reach 250 posts. Check the rules. Wait until you get the required posts. We'll all still be here.

Actually, he wasn't really selling. Being in Austria, he was just offering to facilitate buying from the mint.

FYI, you only need 100 post to post external links and coinworldtv has quite an extensive ebay store of Asian and European coins.

CoinworldTv is very trustworthy! I was also going to offer to help obtain one, till I saw his offer.

Okay, thanks. I just sort of felt bad that he made an offer and it was basically ignored.

I was able to order directly from the mint AND THE COINS ARRIVED TODAY!

My husband is missing a few from the set and so is his friend so....as soon as I get a list, I'll post a want list in the appropriate thread.

They sold out pretty fast. I'm glad I didn't wait to pick mine up at the ANA show -- which is what I have been doing.

I am anxious to see what they have planned for next year.

Weird question...does anybody recognize the brand of capsule the Austrian Mint uses for these? I've got one that has an annoying scuff I'd like to replace with the same manufacturer if possible.

Iowa Wade, I don't know what holders they use, but you could write to the Austrian mint and ask them.

When I ordered the coins, I used an online translator and it helped a lot. I barely know any German anymore.
