I'm sticking them in the box where I keep all my "fluff" as I call it. I collect mainly 19th century coins but hey, for 11 cents you can't beat the price!

When I was a teenager (a long time ago) my high school sweetheart worked at the local Dairy Queen and little kids would go rooting through Mom's jewelry box looking for ice cream money and she found me all kinds of stuff. Here's the reverses by the way. CCF site has been acting funny all day.

Most people I tell to do that including my sister just cant get it into there head what to save and what shouldn't be in circulation, extremely frustrating.

Wow, that was a great week. I haven't found any decent Jeffs or Wheats in a couple years. Maybe the "coin gods" are telling you to get a Whitman folder and start a circulation Jeff set!

Very nice finds! Quote: Here's the reverses by the way. CCF site has been acting funny all day. Yeah, there were some issues on the back end. Should be resolved now.

Nice finds! It always makes my day when I get a good find. Usually the first thing I do is show it to my wife. All I get from her is a strange look on her face with a comment of "Yea....and?" Just doesn't get it.

I clearly remember the first time my ex hollered out "You spent a hundred dollars on a penny?!! Are you nuts?!"

That's a really nice penny for being so old. Only one I've found since I started collecting last year was a 1920, and it was so beat up, I could barely make out the date.
I wonder if this one came out of a collection.

Thanks Rackster. Now that seems like a cool thread. Actually I'm surprised my thread grew some legs. I figured I'd just show off my circulation finds and I'm surprised at the response.

Your posting provided some synergy amongst members here. I'm glad you did. The idea is a good one and like most, thought of already. With so many members it is bound to happen more times than not. And now there's a thread added to my list to check. It's all good!
