it is a good strike. Looks like a bunch of marks in the obverse fields. Looks like I am the low card here I have to stop short of a 65 I will say 63 to 64. Nothing to sneeze at for sure. I hope I am wrong

Thank you everyone for the responses! I'll make sure to post the result if I do send this one in for grading.

@damcon3- I took the last 4 pictures last night (so no natural light) after removing the coin from its plastic flip and placing it on a white background. The room has four ceiling fan lights directly above so the light is spread out okay. I use the camera of my Samsung Galaxy 4S.

I would say an easy MS-65 and possibly an MS-66.

Gorgeous coin!

Here is the grading result. Seems like ICG was really tough on this coin. Not sure if they thought it might be AU-58 and removed some points to hedge the grade.

Cascade, I use ICG for a few reasons:
-they offer $10 per coin specials (I am a young numismatist so cost is a major concern)
-ICG seems to grade my coins accurately (or in this particular case, possibly tougher than NGC/PCGS/ANACS). They are solidly in the second tier with ANACS in terms of market acceptance.
-many of the coins I submit are worth $75-$150 and not worth slabbing if the cost is more than $10 (as they would be with any other TPG in my case)
-I live near their Tampa headquarters (so I dont have to pay any shipping, also a big deal for me)
-no membership fees
-I am not planning on selling any of my coins in the near future

I would had maybe gave it ms-63 but that's pretty severe even for having that carbon spot.

Good arguement ryco. I'm a pcgs guy but have been thinking about trying anacs for the lesser and details coins that deserve or need to be slabbed. Don't think I'd go icg though
