Sure is. Good reason why the mint fulfilled the subs before we got a chance to see the coin and cancel.

What a disappointment, I always thought that the theme to these coins were more Canadiana - animals and historical subjects. There's nothing Canadian about FIFA, it's European football!!!

The coin is relevant because the 2015 Womens World Cup is being held in Candada this year. The gold medal game is in Vancouver.

Well they should have their own coin then like their failed FIFA coins from last year it doesn't belong on the XXforXX coins

I was really excited about the $20 for $20 coins, until I found out that value could never be realized at a bank if I wanted to get my money out of them.

Received an email confirming shipment today and figured it was in error since the RCM has not officially announced the theme of the next $20 for $20.

Sent my rep an email since I didn't recall ordering the coin.

Would be nice if we were told in advance. I can always count on this forum for the latest information on new releases!

Your Rep by mistake (or not) ordered the subscription.
So the coin shipped prior being announced.

No it wasn't a mistake, just a surprise to me.

Sounds like the next few issues may have similar commercial spin related to upcoming events. Pan Am Games, perhaps?

This series just goes from bad to worse. I didn't purchase the coloured maple leaf ($25) that they attempted to say was part of the series. And now, they're just churning out completely unrelated themes with no rhyme or reason. Ughh.

Wasn't 2014 supposed to be the last 20 for 20 release anyways?

Are you asking why they didn't kill the goose that laid the golden eggs? Hmm, interesting question.

After community of collectors and other buyers swallowed well 50for50, 100for100 and 200for200, loks like the Mint will continue for long with all XforX coins.

For myself I just understand, that in my opinion they just not worth to be part of mine collection. No, the first 10 I keep and will keep, but on others just passed, even despite of nice design of some.

I think this soccer $20 for $20 coin will do fine. The women soccer team is quite popular and Canada hosting it this summer.
