Speechless  All I could do was scroll up and down my screen looking at those gems. A favorite...yea right! Kind of like asking a four year old to pick out only one candy bar from the entire aisle.  I do agree though, that last one you picked up (1839) is a beauty. I was a little surprised PCGS graded it AU. Looks more MS to me from the photos. |

New pictures of the 1842 have replaced the ones uploaded earlier. It is a nicely toned coin that the other pictures did not show. Quote:

Bravo, very nicely done and congratulations! Did you contemplate buying an example of the Transitional Half Dime or did you just conclude it was a pattern? Lovely set of coins! Best Regards,  George |

Congrats! I just finished the basic 5 coin type set of liberty Seated half dimes myself on my way to a complete date set. I like how you organized this set, well done! |

Thanks for the links giorgio11 but those are way out of my budget right now. Perhaps I can find one in a more affordable grade in the future. Thanks again to all who have taken a look at my modest collection of Half Dimes. |
