Yea you did, that's pretty funny I made him an offer to keep the coin. I actually like the coin I bought, so if I don't get this one, no biggie. edit: The seller accepted my $25 offer to keep the coin. T-BOP you were prophetic

He made more than $25, having saved (assuming an honest seller) insured shipping both ways. Not to mention the review he earned. Wish the good ones like this episode got more publicity.

OK, here's a couple of pics. Moderator if necessary could you please add "RECENT PICS" to the title line. I should probably spend more time on the photography forum A couple of cheek hits which is to be expected. The normal flat hair.

Awww sellers have never given me deals like that. Though I like the strike on the cleaned coin.

Yea, I had some brighter lights on the reverse. The bright lights were too much on the obverse, so I toned it down to see it better. I was in a hurry too. I like the cleaned coin too. It might be for sale again soon

Quote: Took care of the title for you. Took me a while to figure it out Thanks. It was really funny, because I originally opened it at 2am, and was looking at it and looking at it, and trying to convince myself I could see the evidence of being cleaned, and thinking to myself, 'I can't wait to crack this baby out'.....and planning my post on CCF for the next day about how I see some die polishing marks on the obverse and a bit of a haze on the reverse (the haze must be the cleaning residue.) Much to my surprise after a nights sleep, I actually looked at the holder .....the rest is history. Am more inclined to leave it in the holder for now, but I was looking forward to giving it an acetone bath...might be MS after that

Ed ,IMO, I wouldn't mess with it. I don't believe an acetone bath will improve your coin. it's already nice the way it is, and already in a nice slab.
