AlbumAccumulator, I do the exact same thing as you... I have a separate blank quarters dansco for the stains 05-2010 and as mint business strikes.
I also have a separate dansco for my proof and silver proof atbs. My folks bought me a p/d dansco and I didn't have the heart to return it or whatever, I went ahead and used it.

JMKendall ...Hondo I have several different Washington Danscos. I would have to check, but I think all of mine 2005 through 2010 have satin coins. I also have the biggest binder Dansco has, put in 2X2 pages .. and put in the satin coins. (I know I could just keep the coins in the mint sets, but I like albums)  Lincoln cents  Nickels  Dimes  Quarters   Half Dollar  Sacs  Just noticed I need a couple Kennedy's .. I think I did a set for someone .. and took them out. Not sure what I did with the presidential .. either Dansco or .. I have a 2X2 box full of satin coins |

Leave in in the mint cello or put together rolls of each state. If selling is the goal I would probably leave them in the cellophane. However, it would be tempting to build rolls, assuming you have enough to make complete rolls for each state. |

I have a hard time breaking mint or proof sets, but I wanted to do a set of uncirculated State Quarters after finishing a circulated set. I decided that I would only break a set if I had a complete set in my collection. When researching, I realized I wanted to have all the coins, not just a P & D. I have been purchasing sets, breaking them, and making an album of 2x2's. If I was looking to buy the satin coins, I would hesitate to buy if they weren't in the cello. The uncirculated sets was the only place they were available, the rolls and bags of coins were regular business strikes 2005-2010.(as I understand it) I would need good pictures and some sort of trust with the seller before purchasing off the internet. (or a good return policy, but who wants to go through that hassle) I found this post trying to find out how many quarters are needed to make a complete set including proofs, silver proofs, uncirculated satin, and uncirculated brilliant coins. |

Huh didn't realize there was an entire line up of different finishes for the quarters... I think I will just stick to my silver proof date sets. But that is definitely a lot of quarters! And curious... that Dansco with all the different pages of coins is a binder? O.o something else I need now to go along with my other Danscos... thanks alot ;)

The album with all the 2X2's is a Dansco dealer stock book. Album #7000 http://www.wizardcoinsupply.com/pro...l-pages.htmlI think it comes with 9 Pages, 12 coins per page. I like them, have 3 or 4 of them. The album pictured has a set of Satin coins from Lincoln cent through Sac dollar. Edit - to be more clear, the album has the same type cover as the other Dansco albums, but instead of the regular pages is has pages that hold 2X2's. it does go well with other Dansco albums. Edit #2 ... I forgot .. instead of using the regular Dansco dealer stock book with the 9 pages. I purchased the largest blank folder Dansco makes, I think 1 1/4 binder, then put 11 2X2 pages into it. Yeah I looked up the 1 1/4 binder and it looks very tempting to put all of my world coins I am accumulating into... since I will never be able to get type sets for all those countries but rather a binder I can at least put all the different ones I have into it that matches my other Danscos :)

Satin rolls sound interesting. Kept business strikes in established albums and separate albums for the satins. Thought satins were interesting and I like to examine them, but I don't miss them.

So just realized the 2x2 sheets I have won't fit in those Dansco binders... I have to buy the 12 coin 2x2 pages to go with them. My pages are too big :( that might deter me sadly
