Cost was only 1$ each. I was amazed so I bought about 20 of them. I also keep my 2x2s in binders but extras usualy get placed in boxes so atleast this way they can be organized while beeing stored.

Also forgot to mention that these cosmetic trays have spring loaded arms that always keep your 2x2s at the front.

Ya, when I seen it I knew exactly what you had going on. I am going up to Fredericton Thursday. I hope some are left.

I'm heading back to Target right after university today. I hope they are still open, I went last Friday and the shelves were pretty empty, I know they had a ton of these though.

Welcome aboard RichieD613! That's a great way to store extras! Nothing worse that having a bunch of loose 2x2 laying around on the desk. I had heard Target in Canada was closing it's stores on the CBC.

I go to the bank and ask for the boxes that hold the $2 rolls in `em... they`re super cheap (FREE!!) and fit perfectly... for presentation purposes you can sometimes pick up old slide holders or slide containers they also are perfect for 2x2`s

Wow, what a great idea. I will have to check out my local Target to see if they have any.

to the forums Richie Looks like a good way to have them sorted and displayed. Does the spring loaded arm make it hard to sort through if you are looking for a specific coin?

Excellent way to store coins, and the most space efficient, but a little hard to find one in thousands; each coin has to be tipped to inspect. I guess that is why 20 pocket album pages are favoured by some.
Your method of storage is best with very large collections, provided that it is supported by a data base.

Excellent idea! Thanks for sharing. I'm going to target right now to buy everything they have (of these displays, that is). My storage solution was to create plastic trays out of extra 2" blind-slats from a bunch of blinds I bought recently. I had to remove the extra slats off the bottom of the blind so it would fit the window perfectly, then decided to recycle the extra pieces for perfectly sized 2x2 trays. NOTE: This only works with 2" blinds.
