Thank you brefos77.  The result: Parklane64 won the gold ($854.24) - difference of $3.16.  Ceaton won the Silver (15.13) - difference of 0.07. The majority of participants are from the US; however, we have 3 international participants ( crzy3by - Philippines, fastback13 - Canada, and justabeginner - Australia).  I am so sorry that I forgot nancyc-Australia and jasondeg-Canada.....   Please do forgive me and send me your mailing address.Since they are "unique" international participants, I would like to send them some coins for their efforts (please email me your mailing address) . I hope other US participants don't mind.....  ======================================================== Regarding the price changes on the last day, I bet you all was surprised - I was   ! The main reason was because the FED cut interested by 1/4% and the Manufacturing Sector went negative - both of those news created panic and drove the stock market down (ie precious metals increase in price). The market was up in the morning and then when I hear the news at around 10am PST, within an hour, the Down Jones lost 100+ points......  There are some talk about the US going into a recession this year........ Hopefully it will not be true - I still want to buy silver and gold coins!  Edited by SA4H

Wow! Way kool! Just bought a house, and my daughter yanked our modem on the first day of the move. Just got re-hooked up with my connection, Comcast. I collect books, stamps, coins, Belleek, and etc. You have no idea how much carp I have moved in the last week!  |
