Too bad, I had many good conversations and dealings with him. Hope he did not suffer for a long period.

Last time I saw him was at the Canadian Legacy Sale in February. Such a loss. I hope he will be honoured and celebrated by numismatists around the world, and that his legacy will be permanently and widely ingrained in the hobby for life. RIP, Chuck.

Chuck was truly a wonderful guy and not only a giant in Canadian Numismatics. He had a great way about him and was certainly entertaining once you got to know him on a personal basis. I am glad I was able to spend sometime with him in Toronto at the Landon sale in February this year. I will remember him for his kindness and generosity on a personal basis, and will never forget all of the wonderful sweaters he used to wear.
To Leslie and Chucks family my personal and sincere condolences. Numismatics has lost a true GEM.

This is very sad news. I had a chance to meet him at the last FUN Show and he graciously shared his knowledge with me even though I was out of his league. Seemed like a very personable and likeable guy. I had no idea that he was ill.

Quite sorry to return from a trip and hear this news...

Spoke to Chuck on the phone a few times and via email, collectors on both sides of the border have lost a fantastic member of the numismatic community...

Most sincere condolences to the Moore family

It was the most distressing news. I bought my first coins from Chuck beginning in 1985.

You will also find follow up articles as well regarding memorial services and various contributions he has made over the past 40+ years.

I'm another person who barely new him, but new of him and celebrate his enthusiasm and passion for the hobby. It was always a pleasure to see him wandering the bourse room or hotel at any given event.
