I'm with them. Aside one band of weakness down the bottom of the reverse, this one's seen little circulation. The cotton bolls still show detail, the neck is virtually untouched, wear has so far escaped the leading edges of the wings and the breast feathers are still defined. I had it at no worse than XF on first glance.

Very minimal wear and sharp details; I could easily see this one being AU-50, but AU-53 wouldn't surprise me either.

XF 45 or AU 50 If the coin has any luster, it should grade AU.

Looks fake to me. On the obverse the top of the rim is gone and on the reverse the top of the rim is gone. Doesn't add up unless it's the photography.

I don't know if it is fake or not this why there's photos. If any other angle is needed I can upload other photos, no problem. The photos was taking close to 45 o angle it is probably why its look like that but the top is there. By the way, thanks all for your grading and I would like to know how to see luster on this piece?...this mean that I need to rob the coin or what ? thanks.

Yep, was the angled photo. Looks XF/AU. Do not clean or polish the coin.

Now I can see some luster so I'm upping my grade to au50-53 And I see no sign at all of a fake but weight it if you want to...

With this being a common date even in MS, I would not suggest having it graded.

Do not waste your money having this common coin graded. Seriously.

You could buy another just like this one for what it would cost to have it graded by the least expensive (ANACS) grading company. Enjoy it in the 2x2.

The best companies to grade coins are PCGS and NGC. If you were to submit, you would first need to pay for a membership or submit through a dealer. For coins under $300 value submitted under economy grading, it will cost about $25 to $30 dollars per coin. If your coin graded at AU53, the grading would cost more than the coin value. On a common Morgan my rule is that the coin must look at least MS63 or I will not submit. A lot of collectors want the common Morgan to be at least MS64.

XF details. This coin has been treated in some way, but I can't say which from the pictures.
