The premium is way too high on this one. I may pick up one, but that's it.

It's just all right to me....especially compared to the pirate round. I will probably just be getting one of these.

The rendering of the Grand Canyon is so-so and the map of the U. S. on the reverse does not look very high relief. This is a series I am not going to get into.

Ultra high relief 2 oz coins are way too cool to pass up. I'm excited about getting in on the first issue of a long-running series that I hope will quickly become a self-sustaining collection. I plan to buy several of each as they come out and ladder subsequent purchases by selling the duplicates. BTW, the new 2 oz. capsule Provident is selling for these coins is a perfect fit; highly recommended.

Like I said in my first post, it looks to be nice series to collect. The Grand Canyon round maybe isn't as nice as Privateer round, but I will still get couple of them.

Ordered one just to see what they look and feel like in hand, the premium feels too high for an introductory coin in a new round series. Ordered two more of the initial privateer rounds, they are just too cool in hand! Added 25 capsules, too.

In the other forums there is talk about how the image they used on this round is not part of the grand canyon but part of the glen canyon

Here is the Wikipedia link to the picture and how its from the glen canyon

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horse...nd_(Arizona)

If you Google glen canyon you will find the picture used........kind of a funny mistake if you ask me....

Whoa, whoa, let's back up. It's not even a deleted expletive picture of the deleted expletive Grand Canyon? What, did they get it manufactured in deleted expletive China? Do a full assay on that puppy and get back to us. Please.

Solidifier, I hope Provident includes Niagara Falls NY as one of the American Landmarks in the series. I think the Falls would look awesome on a two-ounce round!

Yeah Niagara falls would look nice.....Looks like it will be an interesting series since the second looks a lot different style from the first
