There are two types of people, those who double down and those who walk away from the table

And those who walk away from the table for awhile and then come back to the table for a lesser portion...

That depends on a few things things, such as how many accounts you have, the daily withdrawal limits, and of course those account balances.

ah, yes, those pesky account balances.
I vote no/oxi--I shouldn't be artificially limited to those pesky account balances.

That's why I use casino markers and buy my stock on margin. It's just sooo easy Kidding of coarse, that's a good way to lose everything

Kidding of coarse, that's a good way to lose everything Including the use of your legs when a thug from the Casino breaks them!

I would, if the right reason came up. Emergency operation for one of my kids, our car blew up and we just spent our e-fund on an emergency operation for one of my kids, or because I lose interest in the hobby (not likely!)
After all they are just lumps of metal, there are many things in life of greater worth.

My coins are an insignificant part of my net worth (which is not all that much). If I ever had to sell them, then things are really bad.

Hmmmmm....
Well, I certainly have plenty of coins that I bought either specifically for my various albums or because they are somehow "special" in one way or another (including various key date coins of series I don't otherwise collect and all the classic proof coinage I have been slowly accumulating). I don't plan to ever sell any of those and hope to pass them down to my son someday.
When it comes to stuff like this, however, I don't think I would have a problem selling it if I were desperate for money or simply because the cost of silver ever skyrocketed again. I do enjoy buying numismatic silver more than plain bullion, but I'm not buying it purely as a collector.
