Actually, the camera-phone I used is yellow.
September-2015-Releases
I had no 'extra' lighting but what was coming through the window, reflecting the image of the camera onto the coin. Not intended, but kind of a cool effect.

@Dcadon: Ah, that make sense , sometimes I have to tilt the coin to avoid my own reflection too. Didn't thought about that when looking at your photo.

What was wrong with your coins in the set shopaholic? I saw a set at CP and the Queens face was scratched to heck on the one ounce coin :(

@Whitetail Junkie: Mine also have some scratches on the queen's face.

Hey how you guys get your coins so quick from the RCM? My orders from the mint almost always stay as "processing" for a month or two before being finally shipped out. Now I know I live in the US (NYC), but I get my orders from the British Royal Mint from across the Atlantic Ocean in less than a week from purchasing to arriving at my home. Am I doing anything wrong here? Did you guys order super early or what?

For me, the Mint's shipping time has always been hit and miss. They ship the fractional set pretty quickly to me this time (3 business days after ordering).

But there were countless occasions that it took the mint at least 3 weeks to ship coins that I pre-ordered during Advance MC Notice, while other people got their coins shipped within a few days after they placed their orders (and they didn't even pre-order).

So to me, it is all about luck.

Oh thanks, and also how are the coins? You guys mentioned about defects... what kind of defects? Maybe I should just cancel my order.

^^ sounds like it might be an issue on a few sets then...The mint has to tighten up the ship and have better quality control IMO.....my set still shows processing aswell and it's been about 9 days....Ill wait until next Friday,if it's still processing I'll call them up.....I wonder what the mint does with returned coins that have small defects? Melt them down or ?

I'm worried that since I always seem to get my order shipped out so late, I might get those ones with little defects? Fml... Maybe I'll call them too this time...

new Disney coins arrived from NZ Mint....Stars Wars themed

Again colorized, like "full colour' and not classic SW.
NZ Mint makes same mistake like in 2011 with SW.

Almost the last week of september...but the CA still have in stock:

people not loading them?

2015 5-OUNCE $2 Coin Big Coin Series Fine Silver Coin
these should be popular and the mintage is low, so why?

The big coins will eventually sellout but a coin a day with no themes how many collectors are out there? At shows it's generally same faces and dealers and with the added knowledge the larger dealers are all discounting why would you pay issue.

I think this valid for the other coins, but Big Coins hopefully will maintain the value .

Another non surprise:

The Coin Shoppe has:
2015 $5 1 oz Fine Silver Coin - Maple Leaf - ANA Chicago State Flower
for CAD 89.95 ...... hype is over

The RCM is turning into a Franklin Mint, everything goes to bullion value if they keep going this route, they will destroy the hobby . Contact the RCM before it's too late as I mentioned before, had nice long talk with a rep at Halifax RCNA, just stupid logic, they want to produce coins for all customer bases regardless of Canadian connections such as looney tunes. One thing to produce tokens for employees, but to have a NCLT with the queen on one side and bugs bunny on the other, duh

These privy coins are a joke, couldn't even get $40 out of a reverse proof snake privy silver maple leaf...not buying into these anymore.
