I stated in the Truman thread, that no one would ever return a set unless there was a hole through one of the coins. Number 1 makes me reconsider that. I'd return it, because you'll never like it, nor will anyone who ever wants to buy it.

I looked closer at 1. There's also a flat spot on the upper left ear. That coin looks like it took a face down ride on a concrete floor.

What's that stain on the lapel on 3? Looks like some dirty solvent evaporated on it.

Acetone won't hurt but it probably won't help...

Ouch.

So glad I bought the set for the set and not the dollar coin.

Geez, it may be a safe bet to buy a 70 when they start coming out before the market realizes how hard they might be to get

Looks like I lucked out as both the medals were flawed in my sets. (lucky US) The Mint sure did a bang-up job with these coins.

Makes you want to buy more quality US MINT products!

Ooof, that's rough. Sorry man. Mine should be here tomorrow... crossing my fingers that they were handled by someone other than who handled yours.

My Lord. #1 would qualify as "impaired" if it were 100 years old. At this point it's something the Mint should be ashamed of.

Adding up the responses, it appears that #2 was ranked highest, followed by #4, then #3. Surprisingly, #1 finished dead last.
