I had planned on picking up the SBA Dansco today,
ended up getting a Three Cent Nickel / Two Cent album.
And some other supplies.

Hope to get the SBA tomorrow.

In a recent Coin World magazine there was an article and a Bill to Congress about trying to remove all the 1979 Susan B. Anthony dollar from Circulation and then make them , No actual cash value. ( only in Collector Coins ), Chances are the Bill will not make it through Congress like they are still trying to eliminate the Lincoln Cent and Jefferson nickels because of cost synergy .

That doesn't make since, make 1979 SBA's "no actual cash value" ?

I read that they made the 1999's because the treasury was running low.

What about the 1980, 1981 and 1999 coins.

I can only imagine there are more Sac's and presidential small dollar
sitting in the treasury vaults then SBA's.

I guess today's comic in the local paper has a ring of truth.

Looks like a good set! I'm about done with my PCGS MS66 and PR69 set. Just the business strike 81S and the proof 81S Type II left! PCGS link here (http://www.pcgs.com/setregistry/pub...25753&ac=1). I don't care for SBAs either...I just like the look of a completed variety set...and SBAs are so far the shortest so well within reach!

the set does look nice all sitting together.

I moved the coins from the Littleton album to a new Dansco
tonight. Being a Dansco fan, I really like how they look.
Adding the 1999 proof helps too. So just the 81S type II
to go.

I assume we will have new photos once you get that in place.

For a small coin set, it is rather tough to wrangle together.

The 81 S Ty II can be bought, pretty easy on ebay for slabbed around $125.

But most times I have my eye on several coins ... Always trying to
pick the best deal.

Now if one comes in local to me .... It might move getting it to the
front burner.
