I would gladly post photos of any of the coins. There are just so many of them. And almost all the high end coins are in slabs. Is there a way I can post the excel document of the coins (well most of the coins as there are still many I have to catalog, but I think I have almost all the US coins listed)
So at this point you must realize we are going to pretty much pester you until we get some pictures or a list. Heck even the bar code number off a slab so we can look it up and get our own pictures. Anything for that coin fix.
Seriously though welcome aboard and I am just posting here to remind myself to follow up for when their are some pictures to enjoy.
This place is great at helping people out. Nobody can be an expert at everything, but together there are like 20,000 - 40,000 coin fanatics on this site at any given moment. Like a bunch of worker bees working for our honey i.e. coin pictures.
Feed the hive mind and you will get all the help you will ever need.
RICH U , what's happening here is called a feeding frenzy. somewhat like sharks feasting on a dead whale. we all are dying to know what you have come into. this is what most of us dream about. an inheritance like you just received.
And here is some of my suggestions. 1. Just package up the entire pile of coins and send to me. 2. Purchase the latest Red Book by Whitman Publishing. Not a good book for prices but very valuable for information on what you have. 3. If possible, do not rush into selling off anything until you really know what they are and if you want to keep or sell. 4. Not sure if there are kids in your family or yet but you may want to consider keeping many, some or all for them. Would be a great start for a family tradition. 5. If you plan on selling coins, possibly ebay is the best for a good return. Many other dealers, coin stores, etc. would give you the lowest possible prices on what you have. 6. And remember that all the above information is given free so again, think of me and send everything to me. Great way to get rid of this problem of what to do. 7. Look up coin shows in your area. If any, go to them and ask around for a dealer that may want to go in with you on selling some at the shows.
