Looks to be an added mint mark.

Yeah, looks like a cast copy, and mint mark is wrong.

And the "B" in VDB is wrong.
But even if everything looked right I'd pass on it because it's not slabbed.

Rough, porous, ill-defined details are commonly noted on cast pieces. Casting usually involves pouring molten metal into a mold by the way. Genuine coins are struck by dies and should not exhibit rough, porous surfaces unless something else is wrong.

I contacted the seller. From their feedback and other listings I'd say they probably are unaware.

I really don't see why people don't have coins like that sent to a TPGS. For the few dollars, they could sell faster. IF REAL that is.

Yup, ANACS is all you'd need.
This one is an obvious copy. Probably underweight.

Amazing, simply amazing!

"Item ended by the Seller due to an error in the listing"

We reported the listing to ebay, but it took ASQ's from us to the Seller to get him to question the coin and remove his own listing.

We just did FOR FREE what ebay used to PAY employees to do!

Westernsky, this isn't the first time...take a look at my other posts from the past 6 months, haha. Probably saved people roughly $20,000.

Drew...

I understand and have seen your many, many posts re counterfeits on ebay.

ebay is so "automated" there is little, to zero, chance that a one-day auction of counterfeits will be seen by a real person. The counterfeiters and Sellers of this crap know there is little chance their one day auctions will get pulled.

(The only way they get pulled in a short time frame is if Bobby gets involved)
