Thank you all for your comments and opinions.

I agree with you assessment, VF35 to EF40 is about right. NGC graded it EF45 but that is not EAC grade. The coin could maybe benefit from an acetone bath, but it is not a must. I will break it open eventually anyway.

I am aiming for a date set of the matron heads, certainly not a variety set.
This is a nice representative for the year 1826.
