Lol and yeah I was having trouble finding markers seems to be a pretty late die state but on doubleddie it seems that die scratch coming off the top right cornice of memorial should be a marker

I doubt 009 if we are looking at coppercoins. There is almost no spread on our devices like 009 has. 010 maybe but I'm not seeing markers and somethings look a little off. I would like to know what coop thinks. Some of it looks like MD to me but I'm not sure honestly if I found it I would be looking for more proof. Most of the 1964 double dies have a good spread on outer devices and I don't see any. But I'm curious to find out

It might be tweak, hence the look at the O for me. It looks a little thicker on the doubling to me, but to slamn's point, the LDS is making the IDing of this one a challenge (markers or devices). Washed out die.

009 or 010 it's a fun find on a Monday night.

Wow those two 009 and 010 are real close-seems more like 009 to me though? I found one definite die marker off the upper right corner of building from stage d of wexlers he doesn't have 10 listed though I dont think

Yeah that gouge right to the side of the building should be a shoe in for a nice marker but it is vlds so tuff to tell.

Final thought for the night: the O in the first picture looks a bit more like 010 but the second photo looks 009. In hand it might be easier to qualify one way or the other. One of our experts will be along and may have something more definitive.

Still, I'd be pleased with either. Good luck slamn!

The die scratch to the right of the Memorial lines up with WDDR-008, Coppercoins: 1964P-1DR-009.

Cwb I think your right 008. On double eddie. The difference is 1 your coin is stage E and 2 your coin is very well circulated.
