To answer my own question after doing research the extra is a commemorative medal that only comes in these sets. Limited to 199 issued. Thanks for the heads up Yup!
If I didn't already have the others I would buy a set to get the medal but I'm going to pass as bad as I hate to.

@coinfushion
It is a nice set, I believe the special item coin is the one with the zebra, elephant and rhino all together and I guess that coin is only available in the set.
I do not plan on buying any of the other coins in the series and to tell you the truth, I was disappointed with the 2016 Benin elephant design but thus far its been a nice series, I do like it a lot, especially the previous elephants and rhino coin.
I would love to get one of those Benin elephant kilo coins in the nice wood case but I just cannot pull the trigger with silver dropping and not coming to a resolution to where prices are going.

Thanks yup. That's a nice coin! A Benin kilo elephant sure would be a showcase coin for sure. The right time will come for you to pull the trigger.
I am still bouncing back and forth on world bullion series. I am drawn to ones that change from year to year and am especially fond of animal coins. Rwanda and Benin are my two favorites so I will try to keep these current...less the special medals limited to the three coin sets.
Happy Collecting!

No problem Coinfusion! I love finding these new coins as they are made, keep things fun. I hope some day to get a few kilo elephants, I think my patience will be rewarded lol Those Benin come so nice in the wood box, very nice stuff. Then you have the Somalian kilos! whew... lol Yea the Rwanda series is so nice... I have no beef with how the series has progressed tho I am not collecting each coin. Btw, did you know they had like F15 Rwanda coins, if you stalk ebay they do come up and are very nice, a nice variation in the series. I have the elephant and rhino,, I want the privy mark ones next. The premiums have been coming down on these slowly as silver prices have remained depressed. You know, if you keep stalking that latest 3 coin set and can participate in an auction, I think thats a way to getting a fair prices if you dont mind finding prices lower later on.

Those look so great!
The Chad coins, the second Hippo, also got toning but again, that was from the dealer I bought from and I returned the coin.
Have you looked at that Africa series from Congo and Gabon that is done in an antiqued finish? I have many of those and am happy to report zero toning or milk spots.
I really love that Chad series, I feel like getting the 2016 release but from a dealer that is not selling toned coins on the rim LOL

 again yup Perhaps someday I will have the pleasure to add a kilo of something to my collection but that day is not here as of yet. I am very familiar with the antique Africa series and yes, they are AWESOME coins! I do not own any but do admire them. I am hoping that Benin and Chad are just taking 2017 off and will be back with something new for this series next year. I am hoping you can find a new dealer with more pristine coins for sure!

@Debrajc so I was looking for that Chad Hippo coin but looks like its out of stock for now. I did see some dealer in Hungry on ebay was selling one but I am reluctant to buy from them since I have never done business with them. I keep looking tho, sometimes these coins still make their way to the market even after a few years time. Did you see those new toned rhino and elephant coins that APMEX is carrying LOL... just when you think there is nothing out there,,, lol
