I got the boys all out this afternoon to admire them and thought I would snap a quick pic before I packed them away until next time. I have enjoyed this series but wish they all had the silver medal. That was my favorite part of the set.

@Debra - Wow, great photo! The Marshall and Lincoln C&C are HIGH on my "to-get" list.
I love that Teddy cover. He was one cool dude.

I took a good look at that part this weekend. I am rather impressed.

@CK Thanks and yes Teddy was for sure. Lincoln and Teddy are my two favorites but I like them all. @JBuck Thanks and they did a mighty fine job on the engraving for sure. I appreciate your comments!

As of 10-23-16, the sales total for the Reagan set is 28083.
Let's see if the Mint will pull it early or let it run to the end of production, which looks like it will be a long way away.

35,000 would have been more than enough and 50,000 would have still been too much.

If history is any indication, the Mint will not keep the set on sale until 150,000 units are sold. It seems likely the final sales total will be under 50,000 (as jbuck noted).

I just got an e-mail letting me know that household limits were lifted. I guess their e-mail list processing is really slow.

My 1000 post! So far the Mint has sold 32207 units of this set. I originally bought 3 sets and returned one due to a brown stain on the reverse side of the EU dollar.

I received my replacement set today. As a bonus they included a Theodore Roosevelt 5oz quarter. I checked the emails that I received from them after I sent the set back. The first email I received indicates that they received only the Reagan C&C set. The second email I received indicates that they sent me the Reagan C&C set and the 5oz quarter. I think someone is going to be in trouble. I'll call Monday for a call tag to send it back.

That would be some really nice compensation for your trouble!
