I bet you get it. The issue is it really a DCAM? The haze around Lincoln's head and through ONE CENT say it's probably not DCAM but you'll have to see it in-hand. If it is it's a great score. There were over a million of these proofs struck and PCGS has certified 3 as 69DCAM out of around 2,000 1959 LMC proofs certified by them. DCAM is tough to get at the big boys and that's where the real value's at.

Yeah, the best thing about it might be the holder. ANACS only certified one of them, no 68s, and the next closest is a 67. Probably worth a shot at a cross.

PF68 Cameo, or PF67 DCAM and it was still a good buy. I think you took a good risk. Nice catch!

The coin looks ok. There is no hazy area around the head or through ONE CENT. My biggest issue might be how deep the cameo is. I'm no proof expert, but were older deep cameos like today's deep cameos? Not sure how deep this one is, but maybe it qualifies according to standards in 1959, but don't really know.

Glad you got the coin ed. You said it was ANACSs Top Pop and might be worth keeping in their holder for that reason alone.

Yes it is the ANACS top pop, and the next closest ANACS is a 67. Am pretty sure it wouldn't cross to a PCGS 69, but might give it a shot someday. Other than that, you're right, the holder is one of the good things going for it, and am sure I could turn a nice profit with it someday. May even send it to Todd at BluCC for some real photos.

Glad you got it.
I do not think a 1959 deep cameo could compare to a 2015 one. I could be wrong and will also look for further comment.

That's a beautiful Lincoln proof regardless of the grade.

Missed this thread during it's initial appearance ... writing now after contributing some thoughts to your cross-over thread. The revised (assume professional) photos show what to me is a DCAM proof. Assume the gunk on the lower reverse is on the holder and not the coin. Outstanding example Ed ... best of wishes with whatever PCGS says! I'll leave some further advice in your other thread ... always keep in mind that free advice is not always good advice. David
