I get my dollar coins, half dollar coins, and $2 bills from my bank. Last time I went, they didn't have any $2 bills

I pretty much get mine from the bank. Banks sometimes have them.

@Fuzzy317 - That happens with me once in a while. They hardly have half dollar coins at the banks I go to, though. :(

So went to my local chase bank today and picked up ten dollars worth of $2. I asked her when she would get more in and she stated that they cannot order $2's and only get them when a customer turns them in. This is a pretty big chase bank versus the smaller one by my house. I called a few other locations and all of them were reporting the same sort of scenario.

Can we go to the Federal Reserve Bank to get $2 and other U.S. currency/change?

As far as ordering 2 dollar bills, I'm calling BS on the fact they "can't order twos" It's just branch laziness and I would suggest finding a different bank willing to accommodate you. I switched to a smaller bank from PNC last summer and not only is the service better, but they are willing to order new bills for me, since I primarily obtain one dollar bills to enter on the Where's George site.

Well, I have been too busy to post since February 11. We have exceeded the remaining amount for the challenge immensely each week of that time with the farmers markets and bill paying, exceeding $650 each week. This is even with poor sales thanks to heavy rains some of the time. Among other issues, I lost 40 acres of cropland in the floods, that will now have to be restored at a cost of possibly $150,000 or thereabouts. Life has not been remotely easy lately. But, here is the final post of this challenge amount for me... $2632 in $2 bills handed out in the last four weeks

-$2144 to go CHALLENGE MET
