Score! Sweet deal! You did quite well, all the detail is present and the corrosion isn't the worst I have seen. Nice for a type set on a budget!

A very good acquisition, this. For an ED copper, it has a decent amount of detail that's evenly distributed. VT may well be able to attribute it, given some close-up pics.

Nice colonial! And for $18.00 a real score.
If you are liking colonials I suggest getting the Whitman Encyclopedia of Colonial and Early American Coins by Q David Bowers. An excellent book!

As far as "environmental damage" I wouldn't worry about it a bit. Most colonials show some degree, and yours really isn't too bad.
