Prices were strange ... some sold over, plenty weren't touched.

I noticed the same thing. Although nothing "wow'ed" me as if it was a bidding war between two bidders, plenty of coins from a previous auction that were untouched went up a few bids.

I got lucky to get one that I wanted, but had to let go of a couple that got out of my budget.

Also, one thing I noticed:

This isn't an OBV1 ... I hope these are the wrong pictures and that no one got fooled..

I won a good example of what happens when you mix Beer, multi-tasking/not paying attention and coin auctions.

A 1949 fingerprint

I really don't like them, but was looking st some other MS66's and got confused. Oh well, hopefully won't end up with too big of a loss on that one.

Looks like that obverse was handled by sasquatch going by the size of that print! I don't hate the coin and I think the price was right, so you'll be fine.

Prices were a bit all over the board, I couldn't win anything, except 1 mistake bid. I was surprised that so many items sold though, I think they found the right starting prices to attract bidders. It might have been the fall auction where a huge % did not generate any bids, this was probably less than 10% did not sell.

anyone have a link to this finished auction. I was watching that pretty 1939 sp dollar because of its beauty. not to buy, just to see how it went.

I did get a 5c 1965 Large Beads MS62 for $1850 all included. Considering I sold an EF40 a couple of years ago for $2800, I'd say this was a steal.

Wow, that is a great swap EF 40 + $1000 for a MS62 of same coin. That is how collecting should go ;-) or at least it how I wish it went.
